Builders Vade Mecum
The Builder's Vade Mecum is a snapshot of the architectural and construction industry during the mid 18th century. Essentially a compendium of rates and quantities for the various building trades, Salmon provides an introduction to each trade and gives examples on how craftsmen might calculate the prices for quantities of materials relevant to their trade.
