Refurbishment Case Study 18
Earlston
This case study describes conservation work, repair and alterations carried out to a privately owned mid-18th century terraced property in Earlston, Berwickshire. The owners of this property sought the refurbishment as a long-term project, learning as they proceeded, to repair the largely modernised house, retaining the historic form and fabric as far as possible. This project has been selected as a case study to share different approaches in the conservation and the repair of traditional and historic structures.
